Dear people,

As you will gather from the vision and the mission statement of the Tenacious ministry, the heart of the ministry, ultimately, is to extend God's kingdom and to help bring people to that place where they can know Jesus for themselves and say YES to making a decision for Him!

'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.' Mark 16 v 15

 God had given me a vision to produce an outreach concert event, starting locally, that would develop into a series of events geared towards the vision of making Jesus known and to help to bring people to Christ. This is the one thing, as Christians wherever we are, that we have common ground with each other...to see people saved and added to the church! I have a vision to see churches working together and supporting this.

 So, with this in mind It concerned me how often we can expect those that don't know Jesus to come to us, into the four walls of our comfort zone where we have church together. Instead of this God has provoked me about reaching the unsaved wherever they are, in the heart of the town where young people hang out, where people go about their daily lives, where there is no understanding that whoever comes will be setting foot inside what they may think of as 'church'. 

We had the first of these events, titled 'Plugged into life', which took place at the Playhouse, Town Centre, Harlow on 29th January 2011. This was an amazing night where decisions were made for Christ during and after the event, and lives were challenged. (you can read about this event here.)

In order to facilitate these events, as always, it has a need to be financed. In order to succesfully put on events we do need to cover the costs. We do have faith to believe thet God will provide, but often God uses 'us' to help with this provision to make His Kingdom go around.

We don't forget the blessings we have received, for which we are so very grateful, and it is also quite humbling when a provision is met.
