Tenacious hosted the first 'Plugged into life' event at the Harlow Playhouse. The event was primarily aimed at those who did not know Jesus, and those who were'nt used to Church. However, those who did know Jesus came and had 'church' with rock band Route 7 rocking the house! The band were 'not ashamed' as they made Jesus famous with their direct lyrics and hard hitting hybrid rock sound which got people to their feet, whether thye knew Jesus or not!

Andy Cromwell delivered a powerful, provoking, un-religious word which clearly stirred people up! What's more, Andy stepped out in faith and put the God of no limits to the test by prophesying into peoples lives....you could have heard a pin drop! Route 7 followed this with a powerful song coupled with a visual of Christ's sacrifice. Together...it demanded a response where six young lives were changed as they publicly made decisions for Christ!!

But it didn't stop there, decisions for Christ were being made following the event, others who did not know Jesus were reported not being able to sleep, clearly provoked by God on the night! Praise God!

We'll try and keep up to date with the blog entries to let you know what's going on and what God'sup to with us!

The band are busy preparing right now as we fast approach the Fire conference in Harlow, Essex in September.....be sure to keep checking back on the website for info about this. We'll be looking forward to leading God's people in some deep heart felt worship and rocking out for Jesus!

One thing I've learnt in all this is that it's important to be 'like minded' in what you do with who you do it with. This brings unity and oneness in the vision. Without this you will notice that it becomes hard work.

Check out the 4th Decmeber which will be the concert to reach out to everyone! We're looking forward to having Andy Cromwell at this event, this guy is worth listening to and won't pull any punches! You'll be able to check out some of his podcast on this site later this year.

So keep pressing on and holding on to God's promises, take hold of His word and don't let go....be tenacious in all you do for Him and you will reap the blessing. Give Him the glory!

I don't know about you, but I've always tried to stay clear of Big Brother on Channel 4 TV. Having to listen to the various housemates, some odd some not, bickering and engaging in often meaningless conversation and futiel debates has never been a favourite past time of mine. 

However, this years celebrity BB has found me looking forward to each of the days viewing, no not because of high and mighty 'all the public love me' Vinny Jones, no, but mainly because of the actor, now born again christian, Steven Baldwin.  Never before has there been a born again christian in the BB house, so I was intrigued to see firstly, how ridiculed he may get, and to see just how upfront he was a bout his faith and even how true it was....and true it certainly was!

Steven Baldwin exceeded my expectations and every opportunity he got he was witnessing about Jesus, having an hour a day bible study, and generally leading a good example. Ok, he could appear a bit of an idiot at times, but so can we all,  who's perfect, and especially when a camera is on you 24hours a day watching your every move waiting for you to trip up! What's more I was quite surprised on how much air time Channel 4 BB gave to Steven broadcasting the truth! Although, this was probably BB's hidden agenda in hoping it would make Steven look silly and make good airtime. Well, it did make good air time but for the pure reason that Jesus was reaching millions and Steven Baldwin spoke truth into the housemates lives. He may have been the third person to be voted out to a booing crowd, but this crowd are the ones that will ridicule. Jesus said we would be persecuted for his name sake, however, this was like water off a ducks back for Stephen Baldwin as he pointed to heaven grinning. What's more he even made Davina feel slightly uncomfortable when challenging her to whether heaven and hell was real, and to a cheering crowd.

Perhaps one of the most memorable scenes was when Steven Baldwin led cage fighter Alex Reid to the Lord. It was quite clear that Alex Reid is a real decent guy and was/is searching for the truth in his life. This scene was focused on in BB, amazing! Alex was moved and was actually thinking about each word he was declaring, at at he end he was trying to hold back the tears after the prayerThere may be those who ridiculed this, but the truth is that no one can take this away from Alex Reid, it was real....even if Alex did not know it at the time, God has a plan for him.

As if that wasn't enough, Steven Baldwin had obviously brought the Spirit of the Lord into the house when actress Stephanie Beecham was literally 'hit' by the holy Spirit of God twice whilst in the diary room. She was so shocked, overwhelmed and emotional as a result of not having the bible to read in the house anymore if Steven Baldwin was voted out, that she could hardly speak and for a moment she forgot where she was. When asked to clarify by BB as to what she meant, she was hit a second time, amazing! Stephanie Beecham then went on to explain this to Stephen Baldwin and was overwhelmed yet again. Later that evening she told Stephen that she had the most amazing day feeling free and was singing like she had never sang before. Whether Stephanie actually knew it or not, she has had an experience she will never forget.

I pray that both Alex Reid and Stephanie Beecham are completely won for Jesus! Thank God for Steven Baldwin!
